remember, remember the fifth of november...

...the gun powder treason and plot. I know of no reason why the gun powder treason should ever be forgot.

As you've already noticed, I have a new layout, yes.
I'll tell you about past days.
My first winter holidays week is coming to an end, and it's been quite great. I've watched 9 movies and that's because I'm not counting the ones I've watched on the telly.
Yesterday morning, I went to my uncle's house to do some favour. My dad did something, I joined him to do that something, and my mother and brother stayed home. After that, dad and I met my brother and mother in the mall to have lunch. While we waited for both mum and Mauricio, we bought a present (trainers) for my cousin whose birthday was last Monday. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday, which is inside the mall, and for dessert, an ice-cream at Munchi's. Next stop: home. I found my dearest friend Carmen, who told me that she actually got the role for the musical Les Misérables, which she wanted so bad, and I can't describe what I felt when she told me. I started screaming in silence (it's a magic trick, I can scream in silence, hahahaha) and jumping all the way around. I think that, for the first time in my life, I felt that happy for another person: my friend. That makes me think about society, the way everyone is so mental, the only thing that everybody wants to do is to screw the other to obtain what they want. Well, I don't speak for EVERYone, but sometimes I feel that it is so much like that. Ultimately, some people don't think for anyone but themselves, and that drives me mad.
AAAAAANYWAY, I felt truly happy for my friend, hahaha.
After having a fresh shower and prepare everything for next day's trip to the mountain, we went back to our uncle, aunt and cousin's place to celebrate our cousin's birthday (that's why we bought the present). First, I went upstairs and spent my time at the computer (interrupted by the tea time/birthday time). Anyway, I got bored and went back downstairs, where the adults were. They were drinking alcohol and having some sort of cocktail, as always, but I just drank one or two glasses of Coke (I was really thirsty after eating those American Crackers).
Suddenly, Vale calls and tells me there's no mountain trip, because there's raining/snowing which makes it impossible to go. So, let's wait for next Saturday.
After the phonecall and some oysters, somebody said karaoke!, and there wasn't so long until my uncle set everything and then he, another uncle, the son of one cousin's girlfriend, my dad and me, started singing on the sofa.

Some funny moments were when...
+ My uncle (the host one) sang New York, New York by Frank Sinatra, and I was like her dancer and made a whole show and both aunt Lily and her sister couldn't stop laughing.
+ We sang twist and rock&roll songs, they were so much fun!
+ My mum sang, that was over the top. Laughs 'til death.
+ My uncle Jorge's performance of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. God Almighty! THAT WAS SO FUNNY!
+ My brother's performance: Always by Bon Jovi.
+ My mother's "MERMAID DANCE"!
+ And much more.

Here's the first song I performed alone. This is the proof of my awful singing skils.

Well, everything was amazing. I also kinda' sang with my dad (kind of, because I just stood up besides him singing in low voice) several times, including a song called Con una pala y un Sombrero ("With a shovel and a hat") and I was about to cry, really, because it makes my dad very emotional (though this time he didn't show) and so makes me, but luckily, nobody noticed the 'knot in my throat'.
After that amazing night, we went back home at 2 - 2.30am, and I don't remember too much, because I was truly sleepy.

Today, I woke up quite late, but then my dad and my brother arrived after their usual football match. We prepared and had lunch, and then, my brother and I, watched V for Vendetta. HOLY MOLLY, I LOVED IT! I think that's what has making me thinking. Yes, that movie's got me thinking (hahaha, like that song called That woman's got me drinking, but this is a little different). That movie is responsible for what I said at the beggining of thes blog entry, it's its fault (;
Anyway, everything is quite perfect on that movie and I love that. Yay of V. Yay fot Nat P. Yay for Evey.

why so serious?

Hello, mateys!
Yesterday, I went shopping! FINALLY. It's been months! Anyway, I didn't buy much stuff. Just one tote and a trilby hat in a cute store called Zoo:

BUT I also found some cute other things. Now, I recall of two things: a lovely and femenine light blue blouse and a sort of greyish one shoulder frill dress. Both from Topshop new arrivals, that means expensive. But it's just a matter of time for them to decrease in price. Let's see in a month or less than that (for my birthday!).

Then, at night, I watched El Orfanato, a Spanish movie. It was... a MASTERPIECE, really.

And today, I went to the cinema to watch the first Batman film that doesn't have "Batman" in the title: The dark knight and I adored it, it's so cool. And Heathy... unbelievably amazing. He absolutely deserves the Oscar! (I have a sort of weakness for villains in this kind of movies, though). It was so magical... I didn't even cry for him. I was so into his performance that I thought that he way still alive, and it felt really good :)
One thing I loved: the stories of the scars in his face.
+ "Let's put a smile on that face"
+
"Why so serious?"
+ "
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We're tonight's entertainment"
+ "Introduce a little anarchy, upset the established order... Well then everyone loses their minds!"
+ "I don't want to kill you. What would I do without you?"
+ "I love this job!"

scholar

Yesterday, I had my blood taken! In Biology we're studying blood groups and we made an experiment to identify ours. I confimed which group my blood belongs: B Rh+.

Today, after school, we went to the cinema with Kichi to watch 21. Oh, jesus! What a grrrreat movie! I'm loving Jim Sturgess more and more everytime! I loved it! Watch it, it's so cool.
We already made plans with Kichi. We're going to be math geniuses and at the age of 21, we're going to make a blackjack group, go to Las Vegas and win millions of dollars.
After we watched the amazing movie, we went to ROCCO'S NEW YORK STYLE PIZZA to have white chocolate tarts (delicious). Then, we went home.

getting my feet back on the ground

Last night, Ignaa, Kichi, Kichi's dad & I went to The Bootleg Beatles concert (tribute band to The Beatles). The thing, is that the ruled. They were just amazing. They were physically similar to John, Paul, George and Ringo and they sung just like them! They sang most of the songs together, like All my loving, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Hey Jude, All you need is love, Help!, etc. And some songs alone: Yesterday (Paul), Imagine (John), Here comes the the sun (George), With a little help from my friends (Ringo). Everything was magical.

manic panic

Last Saturday, Igna and I, went to Jane Birkin's concert and it was beautiful (check out iGnaa's blog).
No interesting things have happened lastly, except of some tests and stuff, that's why I haven't posted anything great since my brother's arrival from NY. Life has been boring, you know? But happy, very happy.
On Thursday I watched Across the Universe, which is great. I loved that movie. Thanks Simiolph for bringing it to me :)

Noticed? Different colours. Soon, new pics and music, maybe. I'll add new things to this blog, because I've had just "Réves" and "Blogblogblog" since it was created almost ten months ago.

alms for a miserable woman

Estoy escribiendo algo.

pool and movies

Who is it?. Me, I kill you!)

NEXT FRIDAY: Tea Party at Cami's place. [postponed to Monday14th]

samedi, décembre 1

i'm sexy, i'm cute, i'm popular to boot

I saaaid brr (clap, clap) it's cold in here (uff, ojalá, me estoy asandooo), there must be some clovers in the atmosphere. [bis]

movie, "surprises", grass and the same movie again

JOHNNY TE AMO

[No photos yet]

[No photos at all]

Besitos, Cami

but tea hasn't lost its essence yet

Chaito invierno.

DOUG: (aside): Steve, what are you saying, be cool. (to Grieco) So, is Johnny Depp meeting
you here or what?
La película que vimos anoche ("A night at the Roxbury") es tan graciosa! Will Ferrel me hace
reir frecuentemente.

One love, one life when it's one need in the night.

she knocks 'em out

Aunque le haya faltado "Take what you take".
Cuando dijo antes de "Not big": "...and it's about small pennises" todos rieron y luego ella dijo: "or are you telling me everyone in Chile's got big dicks?" everyone laughs again.
Besitos, chao!
HAPPY CAMILLE

PD: Vieran el vídeo de "Everything''s just wonderful" que me identificaba en ese momento, o sea, el coro, porque la canción en sí trata de otra cosa, pero en ese momento i was "having the time of my life".

six movies a week

The Simpsons Movie: I laughed a lot. Even though i expecte much more about a move which lasted 20 years for being done. Anyway, it was great.

The Queen: It was a good movie, in my opinion, but not the best. I loved the performances (Hellen Mirren was amazing!) and also admire Diana, just like my mum does.

Date Movie: Another funny movie. I loved it. Even it's not the best comedy ever, but it's just great. It's quite like the Scary Movie sequel or like Not Another Teen Movie.

Ocean's Twelve: It's just great!!!! I loved the performances, the actors, everything. A great movie, a great story. I liked thet part in which Tess (Julia Roberts) makes herself look like Julia Roberts and then appeared Bruce Willis as himself talking to her and everything.

Marie Antoinette: Even though I think the performances, the music, the production and the art direction were awesome, I found that it was kinda' boring, it was sooooo slow that I was sleepy at times.

Live Free or Die Hard:
Full action. Bruce Willis never dies and I think that's great. I love how Mary Elizabeth Winstead was there. I certainly, didn't sleep.
