My life since my last post hasn't changed that much.
I don't know if I told you before, but this year I have to take the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) in Maths, English and Spanish. British people will understand better this thing, because they have to take the GCSE, which is quite the same thing, but t¡with English as a first language, and they actually have to take exams on every single subject (that's what I've heard). Well, I've already taken the oral exam (in English) and, according to my teachers' evaluations I had 30/30, that means an A*! I'm very good at English, since it is my second language, but at the time of speaking, I make little mistakes ( them immediately, because they aren't that frequent) because I get a little nervous.
What else... On Saturday, I went with my dad to a marketplace to buy better fruits and when we finished, the guy who watched our car told some sweet "payas" to me. He was so nice, he made my morning. In the afternoon, some friends came home and we played Pictionary, went to Starbucks, played cards and hide&seek. We had so much fun!

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS:

The film's casting agents for the new Alice in Wonderland movie will be at the New Continental Hotel tomorrow and on Thursday, from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, to audition for 250 paid extras. Extras must be at least 16 years old {I turn 16 on Friday, so it's perfect} and bring passports with them. Shooting is to take place in the city in September for two weeks scenes will take place in Victorian times. They are looking for people above the age of 16 who have naturally
coloured hair {perfect}. “We would prefer girls with long hair {perfect} and men with natural styles,” Ilenka told The Herald last week. “Extras will get to dress up in Victorian period costume, corsets and wigs {coudln't it be any more beautiful?} and will have their make-up done. “We would also like people whose work allows the flexibility of two weeks' {two weeks without school is not very much, is it?} worth of filming.”
It is rumored Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter in the film... this has not been confirmed yet.

So there you have it, my bitrthday present: plane tickets to Plymouth for 2 or 3 days for tomorrow!

Hello, hello!
Today's entry will be much shorter than last one. Now, I'll just tell the highlights of the day.
Firstly, I woke up pretty early, looked through the window and my eyes were amazed by the wonderful morning. The sky was incredibly clear (and I'm telling you, it is Santiago!!!) and the mountains were perfectly snowed. I love winter mornings.
After some hours, chan chan chaaaaaan! My new nanny told me some package arrived for me, and it was the Vanessa Paradis' Vanessa Paradis (in Italics, because it is the name of her 1992 album) limited edition set that I bought on eBay. That's so cool! I noticed that the seller was from Japan, because of the multiple stamps from Tokyo, but I didn't new if the sender was a he or a she, because his/her name is Hiroyuki.
Well, I've been listening to my first Vanessa Paradis CD all day long, and it sounds amazingly (downloaded songs don't sound the same as the ones from the album).

In the afternoon, Api and Kichi came {Kichi, who knows a bit of Japanese, told me the seller had a femenine name}. We went to Starbucks Coffee and came right back home (when it was already dark), but oh so beautiful. I love winter sunsets too. And the winter sky, actually. We arrived home, we watched 31 minutes videos, read magazines and old ridiculous letters, posted in forums and... nonsense, really. Kichi went first and then, Api and I took a few photos :)

As you've already noticed, I have a new layout, yes.
I'll tell you about past days.
My first winter holidays week is coming to an end, and it's been quite great. I've watched 9 movies and that's because I'm not counting the ones I've watched on the telly.
Yesterday morning, I went to my uncle's house to do some favour. My dad did something, I joined him to do that something, and my mother and brother stayed home. After that, dad and I met my brother and mother in the mall to have lunch. While we waited for both mum and Mauricio, we bought a present (trainers) for my cousin whose birthday was last Monday. We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday, which is inside the mall, and for dessert, an ice-cream at Munchi's. Next stop: home. I found my dearest friend Carmen, who told me that she actually got the role for the musical Les Misérables, which she wanted so bad, and I can't describe what I felt when she told me. I started screaming in silence (it's a magic trick, I can scream in silence, hahahaha) and jumping all the way around. I think that, for the first time in my life, I felt that happy for another person: my friend. That makes me think about society, the way everyone is so mental, the only thing that everybody wants to do is to screw the other to obtain what they want. Well, I don't speak for EVERYone, but sometimes I feel that it is so much like that. Ultimately, some people don't think for anyone but themselves, and that drives me mad.
AAAAAANYWAY, I felt truly happy for my friend, hahaha.
After having a fresh shower and prepare everything for next day's trip to the mountain, we went back to our uncle, aunt and cousin's place to celebrate our cousin's birthday (that's why we bought the present). First, I went upstairs and spent my time at the computer (interrupted by the tea time/birthday time). Anyway, I got bored and went back downstairs, where the adults were. They were drinking alcohol and having some sort of cocktail, as always, but I just drank one or two glasses of Coke (I was really thirsty after eating those American Crackers).
Suddenly, Vale calls and tells me there's no mountain trip, because there's raining/snowing which makes it impossible to go. So, let's wait for next Saturday.
After the phonecall and some oysters, somebody said karaoke!, and there wasn't so long until my uncle set everything and then he, another uncle, the son of one cousin's girlfriend, my dad and me, started singing on the sofa.

Some funny moments were when...
+ My uncle (the host one) sang New York, New York by Frank Sinatra, and I was like her dancer and made a whole show and both aunt Lily and her sister couldn't stop laughing.
+ We sang twist and rock&roll songs, they were so much fun!
+ My mum sang, that was over the top. Laughs 'til death.
+ My uncle Jorge's performance of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. God Almighty! THAT WAS SO FUNNY!
+ My brother's performance: Always by Bon Jovi.
+ My mother's "MERMAID DANCE"!
+ And much more.

Here's the first song I performed alone. This is the proof of my awful singing skils.

Well, everything was amazing. I also kinda' sang with my dad (kind of, because I just stood up besides him singing in low voice) several times, including a song called Con una pala y un Sombrero ("With a shovel and a hat") and I was about to cry, really, because it makes my dad very emotional (though this time he didn't show) and so makes me, but luckily, nobody noticed the 'knot in my throat'.
After that amazing night, we went back home at 2 - 2.30am, and I don't remember too much, because I was truly sleepy.

Today, I woke up quite late, but then my dad and my brother arrived after their usual football match. We prepared and had lunch, and then, my brother and I, watched V for Vendetta. HOLY MOLLY, I LOVED IT! I think that's what has making me thinking. Yes, that movie's got me thinking (hahaha, like that song called That woman's got me drinking, but this is a little different). That movie is responsible for what I said at the beggining of thes blog entry, it's its fault (;
Anyway, everything is quite perfect on that movie and I love that. Yay of V. Yay fot Nat P. Yay for Evey.

Vuelvo al español por un rato.
Hoy, 17 de abril, fuimos con iGnaa al Museo de la Moda a ver la expo "Íconos de la Música". Era hermoso, habían 81 ítems de distintos cantantes y bandas, incluyendo Bob Dylan, Britney Spears (?!), Cat Stevens, Elvis Presley, Eric Clapton, Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Rolling Stones, U2, Woodstock, entre otros. Mi sección favorita, definitivamente, fue la de The Beatles, que tenía como su propio espacio aparte. Estaban los cuatro trajes Da Millings de Madam Tussaud, boletos de conciertos, fotos (incluyendo una en la que se podía apreciar claramente el trasero de John Lennon), dibujos, recibos, autógrafos, etc. Era todo maravilloso.
Luego fuimos a ver la otra parte del museo que tenía una exposición de ropa de épocas. 1910 hasta aproximadamente 1980 y en el subterráneo había una sala con vestidos de los siglos XVII - XVIII. Era hermoso y todo muy lleno de historia de la moda.
Cuando terminamos (nos saltamos la exposición de tenis), fuimos a "El Garage" que es la cafetería junto a la tiendita de souvenirs y comimos muy rico.

March 23rd. Trip to Mallinco. We had such a great time!
In the morning, I spent most of the time with GFC girls, along with Fer, Romi and Valeen. We took loads of pictures, we went to the "farm", where we saw some sheep and donkeys... until we had to do some activity which involved lying.


Then I went with my other friends, Cote, Kichi, Igna, Rouz and Marti, to another place and just had fun.
