enero

Debido a mi larga inactividad en este sitio, aquí va un update de enero:

uno: fuimos a la casa de la Cote, porque sí. Comimos galletitas con leche, vimos Friends, hicimos un queque y tomamos once rica.

siete: tuvimos una presentación de nado en la casa de un ricachón. La presentación era muy glittermente glamorosa. Fue muy divertido todo, desde coser rápidamente la tela al traje de baño, maquillarnos y la pochicomida que los llevaron del catering, hasta la presentación misma.

once: fuimos al Festival de Cine Las Condes y vimos L'Arnacœur. Estuvo muy entrete (ya la había visto antes, pero hubo varias cosas divertidas que no recordaba).

trece: Fuimos de paseo por el día a un recinto junto a Río Clarillo, luego de que el plan inicial de ir a Río Clarillo haya fracasado porque estaba todo lleno. Comimos asado y descansamos.

catorce: fuimos al Festival de Cine OpenStar, compartimos una pizza y vimos Breakfast at Tiffany's.

dieciséis: vinieron niñas a mi casa, nos bañamos en la piscina e hicimos cupcakes de frambuesa y chocolate :)

veintiséis-veintisiete: con la Gala y la Vale hicimos una maratón Star Wars en mi casa. Las vimos en orden de estreno. El sábado vimos los episodios IV, V VI y I, y el domingo vimos el II y el III. Luego hice un Yoda de origami y al día siguiente, luego de un rico desayuno, escuchamos mucha música de las películas y veíamos cosas locas en Tumblr relacionadas con Star Wars.

trentaiuno: nos juntamos con la Nicololein y la Pauli y encargamos comida árabe/turca/algo. Luego la Lolein se vino a mi casa y vimos parte de Amélie y al día siguiente me acompañó a mi entrenamiento e hicimos pequeños trámites (no hay fotos de esto).
uno de febrero: con Nacho y la Gala nos juntamos a hacer cupcakes de limón, red velvet y moka (que al final con el frosting, sabía como a tiramisú). Hicimos muchos y nos llevamos para la casa también. Lo pasamos bien y quedaron macanudísimos todos.

Y eso sería, lectores. Luego haré otro update resumen de mis vacaciones.

 La semana pasada fui al cine varias veces :)

Fui a ver Madagascar a las 22:40hrs el día antes de una prueba y valió totalmente la pena! Me reí muchísimo! Es genial el final que les dieron a Melman, Gloria, Marty y Alex. Buenísima :)

Muy... Alien, pero no significa que haya sido mala. Me mantuvo pendiente toda la película. Chori :)

Rara... y buena. Típico de Tim y Johnny, sobre todo de Tim. Me reí bastante también y la disfruté. No es mi película favorita de todos los tiempos, pero en ningún caso fue una pérdida de tiempo y dinero (porque mi papá pagó las entradas). Me mantuvo constantemente entretenida y me gustó harto ;)

Como que ya nadie lee esta cosa. O al menos de eso me da la impresión. Lo cierro? Lo abandono?

spirit of adventure

Aventura de hoy:
Caminar hasta el Cine Hoyts La Reina (aprox 14km) y ver American Pie.

A la vuelta cuento qué tal.

en estos días...

El sábado fui a trabajar como siempre, luego a mi última sesión de depilación láser y después me junté con el papafrita y fuimos al cine a ver Larry Crowne, almorzamos a eso de las 6pm, después vimos un capítulo de The Big Bang Theory, y fin. Bueno, y estuvimos un rato solos en el auto cuando lo pasé a dejar.

El domingo me levanté tempranito y fui al Cerro San Cristóbal a una subida al cerro por San José de Calasanz. Luego almorzamos rico, me quedé dormida un rato, jugamos cartas Magic y Pokemon y volví a mi casa a eso de las 8-9pm. Fue un lindo día.

Y hoy la Marti me invitó a una cosa dentro de los TechDays de Microsoft que se llama Digigirlz en que dan varias charlas de mujeres insertas en el mundo de la tecnología. Conocimos a la chica de kiss my bit y más mujeres geniales. Al final había una fiesta a la que pasamos solo a mirar un poco, robar un par de pizzetas y jugar Dance Central.

Días que no han sido más de lo mismo, lo que es bueno.

Hoy fue el día del cine (todas las películas a luca).
Vimos 4 películas, una seguida de la otra, fue muy chistoso.

Despite my epic fail on the Physics test, this week has been actually amazing... especially these two days.

Yesterday, we walked so much! We walked from my workplace to where we gather for Cristo en la Calle (according to Google Maps, about 6.8km). It was great, though. We had a great time and we had ice-cream for dinner! :P Sabor tiramisú.
Today, we watched The Hangover part II. We walked a lot too. You know... there's always an extremely inefficient way to get to a place and the fast and simple way to do it. Well, we took the first one and made it even more inefficient. It was fun, though. Later, we bought some tickets for a play/ballet and made our way to the subway through Parque Bustamante with some stops in between and short naps. Then I came home and went to the pool for training.
On my way home, I listened to The Cure. It'd been so long since I didn't listen to their music that I missed them. I love listening to songs with days in them on the day mentioned (like I don't like Mondays on Mondays or Ruby Tuesday on Tuesdays). In this case, I listened to an acoustic version Friday I'm in love ► together with acoustic versions of Boys don't cry and Close to me.

Desde Universidad de Chile hasta Baquedano caminando en línea recta? naaah, subamos y bajemos el Cerro Santa Lucía!

long day

6:30am I woke up, showered, got dressed, had breakfast and left for uni.
8:30am I had Physics and then, a LET (it's the acronym for the course) evaluation.
1:30pm I had a small lunch (a hot dog), because I didn't have much time for anything else, because I had a precalc test at 2pm.
2:50pm The test went surprisingly well.
4:00pm I had a Chemistry control which went fine too.
5:50pm I got together with Mari (one of my closest uni friends), Jorge (Pili-my best uni friend-'s boyfriend) and Javier (my tutor) and we went to the cinema.
8:30pm Mari and Jorge left, and Javier and I had something to eat.
9:30pm We went to Cristo en la Calle, that thing I told you about where we share a moment with homeless people and give them sandwiches, coffee and cookies.
11:20pm I came home and here I am, blogging.

See you later alligators, I have to get ready for the Royal wedding, for which I am obviously invited, hahaha!

#11 - peeeeniiiiiiiiis!

This is the third night in a row I attend to a Film Festival and on Wednesday I'll go too. This time, it was a different one from the one I went on the weekend. I prefer the other one though, because it's more inside the park. This park is narrower, you're closer to the street, so you can't really see a lot of stars (what should matter is the movie, I know, but it's beautiful to see the stars as well).

We watched (500) Days of Summer and I loved it! I had already watched it with my brother, but it was nice to watch it again. It's just so much fun. My three favourite scenes were -spoiler alert-: when they are on a bed in Ikea and Tom says "Darling, I don't know how to tell you this, but there's a Chinese family in our bathroom". There's also the "PEEENIIIS!" scene; and finally, the scene after Summer and Tom first have sex and Tom dances and all that stuff -end of spoiler-. The funniest thing about that, was that suddenly a 40/50-year-old man started to dance in front of the back seats (where we were) and all of us were laughing even harder at that point of the movie, but the people in the front never knew about all that.

I really wanted to write "Okay, I'm sleepy, so I'll just post the photo and BYE!", but I just needed to tell you today, before I forgot all about it. +

#10 - jazzy

The beggining of the day was so very similar to yesterday's, with the exception of making a delicious family lunch (courtesy of my dad and I). I spent the afternoon watching telly, tumbling and finally cleaning up my closet.

Close to 9:15pm, my dad & I headed to Las Condes' Film Festival. This time, to watch The Reader. I loved it so much! Kate is soooo talented. The story itself was beautiful & sad, to cry for (in my case, because I cry very easily with dramas), but Kate's performance was too, nobody else could've played that role as she did, which proves that she is a true deserver of the Academy Award. I just love her. There's quite a few sex scenes in the movie, but for the first time I didn't feel uncomfortable watching them with my father. Well, not too uncomfortable. +

#9 - the days keep turning into night

What a magical day! Until about 7.30 in the afternoon it wasn't any special. I went out and there was such beautiful lighting! At one point I took a test photo to the jasmines and boke, tada! Hahaha. Then, I put my feet and my hands in front, so I could get like... something else to see and not just a blurry photo and this kind of looked better, because my feet aren't looking their best these days, hahaha!

Some hours later, it was time to go to Las Condes Film Festival (you know, Cannes, Venice, etc. aren't the only ones with Film Festivals! hahaha) to watch Away we go with Nacho. OMG, WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MOVIE ♥. Maya's and John's performances are so... so... so... I just don't have words for them.

When the movie was over, Nacho and I decided to take a little deviation (the "Festival" is held in a park, so at night it was reaaaally beautiful) and I took some photos. There was one that looks so cool, but I decided that this one should be the one for today. I don't know, it reminds me more of the movie. Anyway, you can see it on my Flickr, if you want :) +

#3 - car park

I didn't want to upload this one, really, but it's already dark and I haven't taken a photo today, except for this one, of course.

Well, last night we went to the cinema to watch Avatar 3D (I really liked it) and when we came out it was half past midnight and every store at the mall was closed, so the car park was nearly empty and dark. My mother was really scared, while I was quite fascinated by it. And for once, all the lights were green (indicating free parking spaces). So... +

un samedi avec camille

I woke up at 10. I had breakfast and went to the supermarket with dad.
Yadda yadda time.
We went to Portal La Dehesa for lunch: The Crêpe Café ♥
After that: CINEMA! We watched El Regalo, a Chilean movie, all together (mum, dad & moi) and then mum left and we watched The other Boleyn girl, which was great (I almost cried in the end, when George (Jim Sturgess ♥) refused to have sex with his sister... the way he cried was heartbreaking).
