de vuelta

Bueno, he aquí otro post fotográfico!

Day after day alone on the hill the man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still. But nobody wants to know him, they can see that he's just a fool, and he never gives an answer. But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down, and the eyes in his head see the world spinning around... Well, on his way his head in a cloud  the man of a thousand voices talking perfectly loud. But nobody ever hears him or the sound he appears to make, and he never seems to notice. But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down, and the eyes in his head see the world spinning around... And nobody seems to like him, they can tell what he wants to do, and he never shows his feelings. But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down, and the eyes in his head see the world spinning around... Round and round and round... He never listens to them, he knows that they're the fools, they don't like him, but the fool on the hill sees the sun going down, and the eyes in his head see the world spinning around.
Camila.

paul mccampbell or whoever...

What a great show it was! From Blackbird to Drive my Car, from Helter Skelter to Yesterday, it was so damn perfect! I danced so much with Dance Tonight, rocked so hard to Live and Let Die, and was about to cry with Something. I had the best time.

During Hey Jude's "na na na nananana"s {♪}, there was a girls v/s boys nananaization.

Whether it was Paul McCartney or William Campbell, I don't care. For me, Paul is alive and that night I was in the same place he played. I danced, I sang, I rocked, I jumped and behaved like a total fangirl.
había una vez...truz!
That's all, folks!

eat!

Hello, hello!
Last night I had a strange dream that had to do with my academic conscience... weird...
Buuuuuut, anyway, let's talk just a little bit of the real life and what's been up lately.
Let's see, since last Wednesday, I'm on holidays, but just until Monday, which sucks. I've done academic stuff like reading books for school, making final copies, researching for debates, etc. though I've had a little bit of social life as well. On Monday I met with friends for Pame's birthday and yesterday some of them came to play Beatles Rockband (yeah, I have it and I'm loving it).
Also, TV series are starting this week! I've already watched Gossip Girl's premiere, I'm looking forward to start watching TBL (The Beautiful Life) which premieres tonight and, well The Office, of course (). Plus, I started watching Skins! Totally addictive. You see, I've watched the first series (yeah, English, they don't call them seasons) and now I adore Cassie, she's oh, wooow, totally lovely. She's anorexic and addicted to drugs (like everyone) and to impress Sid she didn't eat for three days so she could be lovely. If you don't watch Skins, you must be totally lost right now, sorry.

The thing is, that now, thanks to her, I find food disgusting, and it doesn't matter if I'm starving, but I just find it gross, except for Quadritos de Avena, so now, I've just been drinking tea (which would be what pills are for Cass). Terrible, isn't it? I mean, I love food, it's taste, everything, but now, when I see it... eww! I hope it doesn't last for long, though, in a way, it's good for my diet! Yes, I'm on a diet right now (nothing too radical, of course), and it's quite good not to think about food so frequently, especially because yesterday I ate two doughnuts.

What else, people... Oh, yes, I love Regina Spektor's latest album! It's totally great. It's called Far, by the way.

That's all folks!
Cee Cee.

P.S. I've added a header and some pictures on the side bar! Hope you like it. Construction's over.

the city so nice they named it twice

So... I came back from a week in NYC last Monday :)
I'll tell a few details of each day.

Monday I got lost at the Grand Central Station and enjoyed my way back to the hotel by walking on 5th avenue, Broadway and Times Square. They picked me up and we went to Rockefeller Center and had a great view of The City. At night, we went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and took photos with almost every wax celebrity.

Tuesday We took the Circle Line Cruise and saw the Statue of Liberty and some famous bridges. We shopped and, at night, we went to the top of the Empire state and saw the city that never sleeps.

Wednesday We went to The Dakota and walked through Strawberry Fields. Then, we went to the American National History Museum. After that, we crossed Central Park by the Jackie Onassis Reservoir to go to the Guggenheim Museum. We closed the day with Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera.

Thursday We crossed Central Park in order to arrive to the Metropolitan Museum of Art (my favourite), and then, headed our way to the Frick Collection. After some art, we headed to the Fashion avenue and saw all the famous boutiques (I had a little Audrey Hepburn moment in front of Tifanny & Co). It was a great day ♥.

Friday We went to Ground Zero by subway. Then, we visited St. Paul's chapel and shopped at J&R on our way to Wall Street. Next step: Chinatown and SoHo. There, we went to the New Museum (there was like the best elevator ever) and then to Strand (I had to buy a bag, because I bought plenty of books).

Saturday First stop: St. Patrick's Cathedral. Then, we bought some books at Barnes & Noble. Then we went to the MoMA (great museum too). We went walking to the Whitney Museum (on our way, we passed by The New York Palace and there was a little Gossip Girl moment there). After the Whitney, we hurried our way to the Central Zoo and then back to the hotel. Kichi, iGnaa and I went to see Chicago The Musical and then we had like our "last supper".

Sunday Last day, last souvenirs and long flight.
